The glycoprotein isolation kit (wheat germ agglutinin) is designed to isolate glycoproteins from complex mixtures, suitable for tissue, serum, or cultured cell lysates. This method employs wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) as a ligand to specifically bind certain classes of glycoproteins that contain N-acetyl glucosamine (GlcNAc) or sialic acid.
