Specifications
Description
Ceramide-1-phosphate (C1P) is synthesized from ceramide within the intracellular ceramide kinase. C1P hinders cell apoptosis, triggers inflammatory pathways, activates cytoplasmic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2), and promotes the production of arachidonic acid and prostanoids. C1P is a lipid mediator that regulates cellular survival, apoptosis, and inflammation.
