Hydrazide-PEG4-Biotin is a biotinylation reagent with a four-unit polyethylene glycol spacer arm, which can improve water solubility. It is often used to biotinylate glycoproteins and other molecules containing aldehyde groups through the reaction of its hydrazide group with aldehydes or oxidized sugars.
