GlycoErase™ ST6GAL2 Knockout A549 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF605

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
ST6GAL2 knockout A549 cell line lacks ST6GAL2 protein, ST6 beta-galactoside alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 2, a sialyltransferase. ST6GAL2 knockout in A549 cells enables study of sialylation disruption in lung cancer, potentially affecting sialylation of oligosaccharide substrates and sialic acid related pathways relevant to tumor biology.
