GlycoFlux™ Human ACLY Overexpression HEK293T Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF490)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human ACLY overexpression HEK293T cell line is a stable cell line engineered to express ATP citrate lyase (ACLY), a tetrameric enzyme producing acetyl-CoA from citrate, essential for fatty acid and cholesterol biosynthesis as well as acetylcholine production in neurons. ACLY links glucose metabolism with lipid synthesis and epigenetic regulation. This model supports studies in cancer metabolism, neurobiology, epigenetics, and therapeutic strategies targeting acetyl-CoA metabolism.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target ACLY
Full Name Atp Citrate Lyase
Alternative Name ACL; ATPCL; CLATP
Location 17q21.2
Gene ID 47
Summary ATP citrate lyase is an enzyme that generates cytosolic acetyl-CoA from citrate and CoA in many tissues. It operates as a tetramer and catalyzes the conversion of citrate to acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate, with ATP hydrolysis. Acetyl-CoA plays a role in lipogenesis, cholesterogenesis, and possibly acetylcholine biosynthesis in the nervous system.
