Specifications
Product Description
The quantitative human GIF (glycosylated) competitive ELISA kit is designed to detect human gastric intrinsic factor (GIF) levels. GIF is secreted by parietal cells in the stomach. GIF binds to vitamin B12, which facilitates the absorption of vitamin B12 in the small intestine. The kit is suitable for various biological samples such as serum, plasma. Its sensitivity is 1.103 ng/mL, which can accurately detect low concentrations of GIF in the sample.

Application Notes
Application
The quantitative human GIF (glycosylated) competitive ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of glycosylated GIF levels. It is useful for studying the role of GIF in vitamin B12 absorption.
Precision
Intra-Assay: n=20, CV <8%;
Inter-Assay: n=20, CV <10%;
Recovery
Serum sample: n=5, 85-100%;
Plasma sample: n=4, 80-100%;
Standard Curve

The standard curve is for reference only, and a new standard curve should be generated for each set of samples tested.
