Description
GALNT13 knockout HepG2 cell line lacks GALNT13 protein, a polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 13, initiating O-linked glycosylation. GALNT13 knockout in HepG2 cells allows study of O-linked glycosylation disruption in liver cancer, potentially affecting cell surface glycosylation patterns of hepatocytes and O-glycosylation dependent functions relevant to liver tumor cells.
