GALNT13 knockout Jurkat cell line lacks GALNT13 protein, a polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 13, initiating O-linked glycosylation. GALNT13 knockout in Jurkat cells allows study of O-linked glycosylation disruption in T-cell leukemia, potentially affecting cell surface glycosylation patterns and O-glycosylation dependent functions relevant to tumor cells.
