GlycoErase™ ALDOC Knockout HEK293 Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF379)

1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ ALDOC knockout HEK293 cell line is a human embryonic kidney (HEK293) model in which ALDOC expression has been eliminated. ALDOC is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the aldol cleavage of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate and fructose-1-phosphate, and it is expressed predominantly in neuronal tissues such as the hippocampus and Purkinje cells. Removal of ALDOC in the HEK293 background creates a versatile model to investigate glycolytic regulation, neuron-associated energy pathways, and cross-talk between metabolism and brain-related functions, supporting applications in neurobiology, metabolic disorder studies, and glycolysis-focused drug screening.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
