Description GlycoErase™ CPT2 knockout CHO-K1 cell line is a CHO-K1 model lacking CPT2 expression. CPT2 is a mitochondrial protein that, together with CPT1, catalyzes long-chain fatty acid oxidation within the mitochondrial inner membrane. Defects in CPT2 cause long-chain fatty acid oxidation disorders. Removal of CPT2 in the CHO-K1 background provides a distinct model to study mitochondrial fatty acid metabolism, energy homeostasis, and metabolic disorders, supporting applications in mitochondrial biology, lipid metabolism, and rare disease research.
