GlycoErase™ G6PC2 Knockout HEK293 Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF394)

Datasheet

1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ G6PC2 knockout HEK293 cell line is a human embryonic kidney (HEK293) model with G6PC2 expression removed. G6PC2 is a member of the glucose-6-phosphatase family expressed in pancreatic islets, and unlike other isoforms, it lacks catalytic activity but serves as an autoantigen in type 1 diabetes. The elimination of G6PC2 in the HEK293 background provides a human-based model for studying autoimmune diabetes, islet biology, and glucose metabolism regulation, enabling research on immune-related mechanisms and novel therapeutic interventions in diabetes.
