GlycoFlux™ human LDHD overexpression Jurkat cell line is a stable glycoengineered line that constitutively overexpresses D-lactate dehydrogenase (LDHD), a D-2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase. By controlling D-lactate/methylglyoxal pathway by-products, it exposes how atypical hydroxyacids influence redox state, UDP-sugar pools, and glycan maturation. Use it to profile detox pathways that indirectly tune glycosylation under oxidative or carbonyl stress.

Product Disclaimer
This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family. The similar protein in yeast has both D-lactate and D-glycerate dehydrogenase activities. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
