1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoFlux™ human PPP1R9A overexpression Jurkat cell line is a stable cell line overexpressing PPP1R9A, an imprinted PP1 regulatory subunit maternally expressed in embryonic muscle. It encodes a protein with PDZ and SAM domains that regulate actin cytoskeleton reorganization. This glycoengineered model enables research into imprinting effects, actin remodeling, and glycosylation-related signaling.

Availability Status Made to order
Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.
Target PPP1R9A
Full Name Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 9A
Alternative Name NRB1; NRBI; Neurabin-I
Location 7q21.3
Gene ID 55607
Summary This gene is imprinted, and located in a cluster of imprinted genes on chromosome 7q12. This gene is transcribed in both neuronal and multiple embryonic tissues, and it is maternally expressed mainly in embryonic skeletal muscle tissues and biallelically expressed in other embryonic tissues. The protein encoded by this gene includes a PDZ domain and a sterile alpha motif (SAM). It is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase I, and controls actin cytoskeleton reorganization. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
