GlycoErase™ GNE Knockout A549 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF563

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
GNE knockout A549 cell line lacks GNE protein, glucosamine (UDP-N-acetyl)-2-epimerase/N-acetylmannosamine kinase, rate-limiting in sialic acid biosynthesis. GNE knockout in A549 cells enables study of sialic acid biosynthesis disruption in lung cancer, potentially affecting sialylation of glycans, cell signaling, immune evasion and sialic acid dependent tumor properties.
