GlycoErase™ ST3GAL1 Knockout HepG2 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF1110

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
ST3GAL1 knockout HepG2 cell line lacks ST3GAL1 protein, ST3 beta-galactoside alpha-2,3-sialyltransferase 1, catalyzing sialylation in the Golgi of liver cells. ST3GAL1 knockout in HepG2 cells allows investigation of sialylation disruption in liver cancer, potentially affecting alpha-2,3-sialylation of glycans on hepatocytes, cell surface sialylation of liver cells, and sialic acid dependent liver tumor properties.
