Description
The UGT1A1 knockout IST-Mes2 cell line lacks UGT1A1 protein, UDP glucuronosyltransferase family 1 member A1, involved in glucuronidation and UDP-N-acetylglucosamine transferase complex. UGT1A1 knockout in IST-Mes2 cells allows investigation of glucuronidation disruption in Pleural Mesothelioma, potentially affecting detoxification pathways, UDP-N-acetylglucosamine transferase processes and glucuronidation-dependent metabolic functions in tumors.
