GlycoFlux™ human PDE3A overexpression HepG2 cell line is a stable cell line engineered to express PDE3A, a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase that hydrolyzes both cAMP and cGMP to regulate signal amplitude and duration. PDE3A controls platelet aggregation and vascular smooth muscle contraction, and inhibitors are explored for heart failure therapy. This system provides a platform for cardiovascular pharmacology, signal transduction, and drug screening.
