Description
GlycoErase™ PDE3A knockout HepG2 cell line eliminates PDE3A, a cGMP-inhibited cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase that regulates intracellular cAMP and cGMP levels. PDE3A modulates vascular smooth muscle contraction and platelet aggregation, and is a target for heart failure therapies. This knockout enables studies of cyclic nucleotide regulation, cardiovascular signaling, and drug discovery in a human liver model.
