Description GlycoFlux™ human PPP1R3B overexpression HepG2 cell line is a stable cell line designed to express PPP1R3B, a PP1 regulatory protein expressed in liver and skeletal muscle. It influences glycogen synthesis and has been implicated in type 2 diabetes and MODY (maturity-onset diabetes of the young). Alternative splicing produces identical protein isoforms. This model provides a useful tool for metabolic disease studies, particularly glucose and glycogen regulation.
