| Description | GlycoFlux™ human STT3B overexpression glycoengineered cell is a stable cell line that constitutively overexpresses STT3B, the catalytic subunit of the oligosaccharyltransferase complex that drives co/post-translational transfer of preassembled N-glycans to Asn sequons. Elevated STT3B increases site occupancy-especially at suboptimal or lumenally exposed sequons-thereby improving folding and secretion of hard-to-glycosylate proteins. This model enables mechanistic studies of N-glycosylation efficiency, rescue of hypoglycosylated CDG variants, and screening of small molecules or sequence designs that modulate occupancy and product quality. |
