Description
The B3GNT7 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks B3GNT7 protein, UDP-GlcNAc:betaGal beta-1,3-O-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 7 involved in keratan sulfate biosynthesis. B3GNT7 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells enables study of keratan sulfate biosynthesis disruption in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting keratan sulfate-containing glycans, cell-matrix interactions and keratan sulfate dependent processes in the rhabdoid tumor microenvironment.
