Description
The POFUT2 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks POFUT2 protein, protein O-fucosyltransferase 2 involved in O-fucosylation of cysteine knot motifs. POFUT2 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells allows investigation of cysteine knot O-fucosylation disruption in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting growth factor signaling pathways and cysteine knot motif protein functions in rhabdoid tumors.
