Product Description The quantitative mouse anti-oligodendrocyte-myelin glycoprotein antibody sandwich ELISA kit is designed to detect the level of mouse anti-oligodendrocyte-myelin glycoprotein antibody (OMgp-Ab). Employing the principles of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, the kit leverages the specific antigen-antibody interaction, followed by an enzyme-catalyzed colorimetric reaction. The resulting absorbance is then measured to determine the antibody concentration. Compatible with a wide range of biological samples, including tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, serum, or plasma, this kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, enabling the precise detection of even low concentrations of anti-oligodendrocyte-myelin glycoprotein antibodies.

Application Anti-oligodendrocyte-myelin glycoprotein antibody is a specific antibody against oligodendrocyte myelin glycoprotein (OMgp). OMgp is a myelin-associated glycoprotein present in the central nervous system, mainly expressed by oligodendrocytes and certain neurons. It plays an important role in regulating the development, shaping and regeneration of the nervous system. However, after nerve injury, the presence of OMgp may hinder the regeneration and functional recovery of damaged nerves. The study of OMgp and its antibodies is of great value for a deep understanding of the pathogenesis of the central nervous system, the regulation of nerve regeneration, and the treatment of related diseases. The quantitative mouse anti-oligodendrocyte-myelin glycoprotein antibody sandwich ELISA kit is used to detect the level of anti-OMgp antibodies in biological samples, helping researchers explore the mechanism of action of OMgp in central nervous system diseases, understand the effects of OMgp-related signals on nerve regeneration, and provide a scientific basis for the development of therapies that promote nerve regeneration and functional recovery.
