Description FUT3 knockout A549 cell line lacks FUT3 protein, fucosyltransferase 3, involved in Lewis histo-blood group system. FUT3 knockout in A549 cells can be used to study Lewis antigen synthesis disruption in lung cancer, potentially affecting cell-cell interaction, adhesion, and roles in tumor biology related to Lewis antigens.
