GlycoErase™ GSK3A knockout HepG2 cell line removes GSK3A, a multifunctional Ser/Thr kinase that regulates glycogen synthase, JUN, and key signaling pathways such as WNT and PI3K. It is also implicated in β-amyloid production linked to Alzheimer's disease. This knockout provides a human hepatic platform to study kinase signaling, glycogen regulation, and neurodegenerative mechanisms, supporting research in cancer, metabolism, and therapeutic development.
