Description GlycoErase™ SIGLEC6 knockout CHO-K1 cell line is a Chinese hamster ovary model in which SIGLEC6 expression has been deleted. SIGLEC6 is a transmembrane receptor recognizing sialyl-TN glycans and binding leptin, with increased expression in the placenta during preeclampsia. This CHO-K1 knockout system provides a tool to study glycan recognition, leptin-mediated metabolic signaling, and reproductive biology, with applications in biomarker discovery, glycoengineering, and therapeutic development for pregnancy-related disorders.
