GlycoFlux™ Human ADRB2 Overexpression HEK293T Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0925-JF491

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
GlycoFlux™ human ADRB2 overexpression HEK293T cell line is a stable cell line overexpressing ADRB2, a β2-adrenergic receptor that couples to L-type calcium channels and G-protein complexes to mediate rapid cAMP signaling. ADRB2 regulates α-synuclein transcription and is linked to diseases including Parkinson's, asthma, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular dysfunction. This system is ideal for GPCR pharmacology, neurodegeneration research, and cardiometabolic drug discovery.

Summary
The beta-2 adrenergic receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that interacts with the L-type calcium channel Ca(V)1.2. This receptor complex includes G proteins, adenylyl cyclase, and phosphatase PP2A, enabling rapid signaling. It regulates alpha-synuclein transcription, which is linked to Parkinson's disease, asthma, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
