Specifications
Product Description
The GlycoSens™ Soil Inorganic Phosphorus (S-PHOS) Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target soil inorganic phosphorus in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
Product Type
Ion Series
Target
S-PHOS
Kit Components
Sample Lysis Buffer; Substrate; Detection Reagent; Standard
Sample Types
Soil, sediments, solid substrates
Sample Volume
10 μL - 50 μL
Detection Principle
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of soil inorganic phosphorus. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect S-PHOS content in the sample.
Detection Time
Within 2 hours
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.
Shipping Conditions
Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Soil Inorganic Phosphorus
Alternate Names
Soil Inorganic Phosphorus; S-PHOS
Application Notes
Background
Soil inorganic phosphorus (S-PHOS) is an integral element required for robust cellular function and metabolism. It acts as a primary indicator of soil microbial activity and biogeochemical cycling. Consequently, monitoring these changes is vital for evaluating bioenergetic efficiency and systemic resilience.
Application
Designed for comprehensive functional analysis of soil inorganic phosphorus (S-PHOS) within tissue metabolism profiling, coenzyme utilization studies, and biochemical pathway modeling.
Key Features & Advantages
Rapid Reaction Protocol; Stringent Quality Control; Enhanced Sensitivity
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
