GlycoErase™ A4GALT Knockout HepG2 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0425-JF1134

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
A4GALT knockout HepG2 cell line lacks A4GALT protein, alpha 1,4-galactosyltransferase, involved in P(k) antigen (globotriaosylceramide) synthesis in liver cells. A4GALT knockout in HepG2 cells allows investigation of P(k) antigen disruption in liver cancer, potentially affecting P blood group system antigens and related glycosphingolipid functions in liver tumors.
