Description GlycoErase™ AVPR1A knockout HEK293 cell line is a human embryonic kidney (HEK293) model in which AVPR1A expression has been deleted. AVPR1A encodes a G protein-coupled receptor for arginine vasopressin, mediating phosphatidylinositol-calcium signaling that regulates vascular contraction, platelet aggregation, glycogenolysis, and proliferation. The knockout of AVPR1A in the HEK293 background provides a robust system for investigating human GPCR signaling, vasopressin receptor biology, and calcium-dependent processes, supporting applications in cardiovascular research, platelet function studies, and therapeutic target discovery.
