GlycoErase™ PGM5 Knockout Jurkat Cell Line (CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF782)

Datasheet
SizeQtyAdd To Basket
1 M cells/vial*2

Description GlycoErase™ PGM5 knockout Jurkat cell line is a Jurkat model with PGM5 expression eliminated. PGM5 is a phosphoglucomutase enzyme catalyzing glucose-1-phosphate ↔ glucose-6-phosphate interconversion, central to both glycogen metabolism and galactose utilization. The knockout model enables exploration of energy homeostasis, carbohydrate processing, and muscle-linked glycogen pathways.

Handling Notes Upon receipt, this product must be immediately transferred from dry ice to liquid nitrogen (-150°C to -190°C) and stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. Cell viability is critically dependent on proper handling. We cannot guarantee viability if these instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Product Disclaimer This product is provided for research only, not suitable for human or animal use. Due to the inherent limitations of infectious agent testing, investigators must exercise extreme caution when handling cells provided by Creative Biolabs, treating all cells as potentially biohazardous.

Alternative Name PGMRP
Location 9q21.11
Gene ID 5239
Summary Phosphoglucomutases (EC 5.2.2.2.), such as PGM5, are phosphotransferases involved in interconversion of glucose-1-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate. PGM activity is essential in formation of carbohydrates from glucose-6-phosphate and in formation of glucose-6-phosphate from galactose and glycogen.
