Description The ST3GAL2 knockout A2058 cell line, deficient in ST3 beta-galactoside alpha-2,3-sialyltransferase 2 that catalyzes sialylation in the Golgi, enables the study of sialylation disruption in melanoma, potentially affecting alpha-2,3-sialylation of glycans, cell surface sialylation, and sialic acid mediated functions in melanoma cells.
