Description
GlycoErase™ STBD1 knockout HEK293 cell line is a HEK293 model with STBD1 eliminated. STBD1 encodes a glycogen-binding protein that tethers glycogen to intracellular organelles and mediates glycophagy. The knockout in HEK293 enables study of glycogen turnover via selective autophagy, perinuclear/organelle targeting of glycogen, and its role in human energy regulation, supporting applications in metabolic research, glycogen-related pathologies, and glyco-cell biology.
