Hexokinase
Alternate Names
Hexokinase; HK; Hexokinase Standard; Hexokinase Reagent
Application Notes
Background
Research highlights hexokinase (HK) as a significant participant in key metabolic and regulatory cascades. This enzyme operates as a critical regulatory switch, modulating the activity of downstream signaling proteins. Consequently, monitoring these changes is vital for evaluating bioenergetic efficiency and systemic resilience.
Application
Tailored for accurate quantification of hexokinase (HK) across cell biology, organelle bioenergetics, and intracellular signaling cascades.
Key Features & Advantages
High Specificity; Broad Sample Compatibility; Stringent Quality Control
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For Research Use Only.
