The GlycoSens™ Total Antioxidant Capacity Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target total antioxidant capacity in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
This assay relies on the unique spectroscopic optical signature of total antioxidant capacity. After reacting with specialized chromogenic reagents, the measured optical density change directly reflects the total antioxidant capacity of the sample.

Application Notes
Background
The presence and activity of total antioxidant capacity are closely linked to overall organismal health. It represents a comprehensive biomarker for assessing the aggregate biochemical capacity of the sample. As a result, therefore, profiling its activity serves as a fundamental strategy for exploring complex biological phenomena.
Application
Ideal for investigating total antioxidant capacity activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Stable Signal Output; Broad Sample Compatibility; Minimized Interference
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
