GlycoErase™ AMY2A knockout HepG2 cell line is a human HepG2 model lacking AMY2A, a pancreatic α-amylase isoenzyme that hydrolyzes α-1,4-glucosidic bonds in dietary starch and glycogen to initiate carbohydrate digestion. This knockout enables studies of pancreatic enzyme function, hepatic carbohydrate breakdown, and digestive physiology, supporting research in metabolic disease, enzyme biology, and therapeutic enzyme development.
