Description
The FUT9 knockout KD cell line, derived from an extra-cranial rhabdoid tumor, lacks FUT9 protein, fucosyltransferase 9 involved in Lewis X (LeX) antigen synthesis. FUT9 knockout in rhabdoid cancer cells can be used to study Lewis X antigen's role in this pediatric sarcoma, potentially affecting cell adhesion, migration, and functions related to Lewis X antigen presentation in the rhabdoid tumor microenvironment.
