Description MAN2B2 knockout HepG2 cell line lacks MAN2B2 protein, mannosidase alpha class 2B member 2, predicted to be involved in mannose and oligosaccharide catabolism in liver cells. MAN2B2 knockout in HepG2 cells enables study of mannose/oligosaccharide catabolism disruption in liver cancer, potentially affecting cellular metabolism in hepatocytes, nutrient utilization by liver tumor cells, and glycan degradation pathways within the liver.
