Detection Principle
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of curcumin. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect curcumin content in the sample.
Detection Time
30-60 minutes
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
High-performance liquid chromatograph, centrifuge, chromatographic column, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.

Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Curcumin
Alternate Names
Curcumin
Application Notes
Background
Found widely across biological samples, curcumin is crucial for maintaining systemic homeostasis. It actively circulates within the biological matrix, acting as a crucial building block or signaling molecule. Consequently, therefore, profiling its activity serves as a fundamental strategy for exploring complex biological phenomena.
Application
Widely applicable for tracking curcumin fluctuations across agricultural biotechnology, crop growth regulation, and physiological stress responses.
Key Features & Advantages
High Specificity; Stable Reaction; Broad Sample Compatibility
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
