Product Description
The GlycoSens™ Pullulanase Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target pullulanase in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
Product Type
Carbohydrate Metabolism Series
Target
Pullulanase
Kit Components
Extraction and assay buffer; Substrate Mix A; Substrate Mix B; Reaction developer
Sample Types
Tissues, other biological samples
Sample Volume
50 μL
Detection Principle
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of pullulanase. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect pullulanase content in the sample.
Detection Time
Within 45 minutes
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.
Shipping Conditions
Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Pullulanase
Alternate Names
Pullulanase
Application Notes
Background
Pullulanase is an integral element required for robust cellular function and metabolism. Its enzymatic activity is finely tuned to environmental cues, reflecting the overall metabolic capacity. Accurate quantification of this target is essential for uncovering underlying pathological and physiological mechanisms.
Application
Tailored for accurate quantification of pullulanase across cell biology, organelle bioenergetics, and intracellular signaling cascades.
Key Features & Advantages
Superior Accuracy; Excellent Reproducibility; Highly Stable Signal Output
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
