Product Description
The GlycoSens™ Pyruvate (PA) Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target pyruvate in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
Product Type
Oxidation and Antioxidant Series
Target
PA
Kit Components
Assay Buffer; Enzyme Mix; Developer Solution; Standard; Reaction Stop Solution
Sample Types
Tissue homogenates, cell lysates, biological fluids
Sample Volume
10 μL - 50 μL
Detection Principle
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of pyruvate. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect PA content in the sample.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.

Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Pyruvate
Alternate Names
Pyruvate; PA; Pyruvate Standard; Pyruvate Reagent
Application Notes
Background
In the context of biological research, pyruvate (PA) has emerged as a molecule of high interest. By serving as a metabolic node, it integrates diverse biochemical inputs into unified physiological responses. In addition, detailed analysis of this target empowers researchers to monitor disease progression or developmental stages effectively.
Application
Specifically engineered for evaluating pyruvate (PA) dynamics in plant physiology, stress adaptation signaling, and cellular homeostasis research.
Key Features & Advantages
Optimized Reaction Dynamics; Rapid Reaction Protocol; Stringent Quality Control
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For Research Use Only.
