The quantitative anti-cardiolipin screen ELISA kit measures the concentration of unknown auto-antibodies against the cardiolipin-β2-glycoprotein complex using two different calibration curves and horseradish peroxidase conjugates (for IgG and IgM, respectively). Antibodies in the sample bind to the cardiolipin and β2-glycoprotein antigen complex coated on the microplate wells, followed by incubation and washing to remove non-reactive components. The color reaction produced by the enzymatic reaction quantifies the concentration of antibodies in the sample.

Application Notes
Application
The quantitative anti-cardiolipin screen ELISA kit is used to detect and measure the presence of anti-cardiolipin antibodies in a sample. These antibodies are often found in individuals with autoimmune disorders, and their detection is important for diagnosing and monitoring these conditions.
