GlycoErase™ SIGLEC2 knockout HepG2 cell line is a human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line lacking SIGLEC2 expression. SIGLEC2 functions as a sialic acid-binding receptor involved in CD4 receptor interactions, B-cell activation, receptor signaling, and endocytosis, and it has been linked to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. This knockout HepG2 model provides a valuable tool for examining immune receptor pathways and vesicular trafficking in a hepatic context, supporting applications in liver disease research, oncology, and drug discovery.
