Full Name
Catalase
Alternate Names
Catalase; CAT; Catalase Standard; Catalase Reagent
Application Notes
Background
Catalase (CAT) is an integral element required for robust cellular function and metabolism. Through its catalytic activity, it ensures the safe processing of oxidative metabolites within the cell. Notably, consequently, robust measurement of this parameter is highly beneficial for comprehensive functional profiling.
Application
Ideal for investigating catalase (CAT) activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Stable Signal Output; Rapid Reaction Protocol; Stringent Quality Control
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For Research Use Only.
