The GlycoSens™ Endogenous Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target endogenous hydrogen sulfide in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of endogenous hydrogen sulfide. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect H2S content in the sample.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Detection Wavelength
665 nm
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
As a pivotal biomolecule, endogenous hydrogen sulfide (H2S) plays a central role in complex physiological networks. It actively circulates within the biological matrix, acting as a crucial building block or signaling molecule. Furthermore, tracking its dynamics facilitates a deeper understanding of cellular responses to external stressors.
Application
Tailored for accurate quantification of endogenous hydrogen sulfide (H2S) across cell biology, organelle bioenergetics, and intracellular signaling cascades.
Key Features & Advantages
Stable Signal Output; High Sensitivity; Ready-to-Use Reagents
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
