The GlycoSens™ Malondialdehyde (MDA) Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target malondialdehyde in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of malondialdehyde. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect MDA content in the sample.

Application Notes
Background
Found widely across biological samples, malondialdehyde (MDA) is crucial for maintaining systemic homeostasis. It forms a crucial part of the cellular inventory, dynamically responding to internal and external stimuli. In addition, accurate quantification of this target is essential for uncovering underlying pathological and physiological mechanisms.
Application
Specifically engineered for evaluating malondialdehyde (MDA) dynamics in plant physiology, stress adaptation signaling, and cellular homeostasis research.
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
