The GlycoSens™ Nitrite Assay Kit utilizes a highly stable detection system tailored for accurate profiling of nitrite. It combines streamlined sample handling with superior signal-to-noise ratios to support dependable biochemical assessment in research applications.
Target nitrite in samples undergoes specific enzymatic conversion or chromatic reaction, resulting in a distinct optical absorbance change monitored spectrophotometrically. The variation in absorbance intensity directly correlates with the concentration of target nitrite.

Application Notes
Background
Known for its specific biological characteristics, nitrite provides deep insights into cellular dynamics. Its concentration levels are highly indicative of the functional state and metabolic vigor of the sample. Monitoring these changes is vital for evaluating bioenergetic efficiency and systemic resilience.
Application
Ideal for investigating nitrite activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
High Specificity; Broad Sample Compatibility; Ready-to-Use Reagents
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
