The GlycoSens™ Soil Urease (UE) Assay Kit utilizes a highly stable detection system tailored for accurate profiling of soil urease. It combines streamlined sample handling with superior signal-to-noise ratios to support dependable biochemical assessment in research applications.
Product Type
Oxidation and Antioxidant Series
Target
UE
Kit Components
Extraction Buffer; Reaction Reagent A; Reaction Reagent B; Standard
Sample Types
Soil, sediments, solid substrates
Sample Volume
20 μL - 100 μL
Detection Principle
Target soil urease (UE) in samples undergoes specific enzymatic conversion or chromatic reaction, resulting in a distinct optical absorbance change monitored spectrophotometrically. The variation in absorbance intensity directly correlates with the concentration of target UE.
Detection Time
30-60 minutes
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.
Shipping Conditions
Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Soil Urease
Alternate Names
Soil Enzyme; UE; Soil Urease
Application Notes
Background
As a pivotal biomolecule, soil urease (UE) plays a central role in complex physiological networks. It acts as a primary indicator of soil microbial activity and biogeochemical cycling. Accurate quantification of this target is essential for uncovering underlying pathological and physiological mechanisms.
Application
Ideal for investigating soil urease (UE) activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Superior Accuracy; Micro-Volume Sample Requirement; Stable Signal Output
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
