Description
GlycoErase™ SIGLEC14 knockout HEK293 cell line is a HEK293 model in which SIGLEC14 expression has been eliminated. SIGLEC14 is predicted to mediate sialic acid binding and cell adhesion and to localize to granule membranes and the plasma membrane. This knockout HEK293 system provides a valuable tool to study adhesion biology, innate immune activity, and membrane receptor function, while supporting applications in molecular biology, antibody research, and drug discovery.
