GlycoErase™ SIGLEC16 Knockout A549 Cell Line

CAT#: GLJF-0825-JF874

Datasheet Request COA
Overview
Description
GlycoErase™ SIGLEC16 knockout A549 cell line is a human lung epithelial cancer model in which SIGLEC16 expression has been removed. SIGLEC16 is predicted to act as a sialic acid-binding receptor, contributing to cell membrane localization and playing roles in the positive regulation of antibacterial defense responses and interleukin-6 production. Deletion of SIGLEC16 in the A549 background provides a distinct model for studying host-pathogen interactions, cytokine regulation, and innate immune activation, and supports applications in infectious disease research, inflammation studies, and therapeutic development.
